Councils - Ideal fund raiser, feel good factor for the community
Ice Skating in the UK has never been more popular. Thanks to the introduction of ITV's hit show Dancing on Ice. However very few towns and cities have their own ice rinks so access to this superb activity has been limited to the lucky few. With our revolutionary new synthetic ice rinks, ice skating has never been more accessible to the general public.
Set up time
We arrive approximately 2 hours before the event. The rinks are fully run by Rinks and Events staff. All we need from you is a firm flat surface, (Grass is not ideal). Power if possible, if not we bring our own generator.
Size
Our standard rinks are 9m x 9m but can go up to 12m x 12m. We also supply a snow machine for the rink to add extra atmosphere.
Running Time
Our normal running time for the rink is 7 hours, this can be adapted to suit you. We can also collect money on your behalf with an audit sheet if you require.
Safety
We have full public liability for £5 million. All our staff are fully trained. Also, before a mobile rink leaves our unit the floor and barriers are cleaned, skates sharpened and refreshened.
Our barriers are ideal advertising space for local businesses, this often helps to contribute to the cost of the rink.
All you need do is advertise the event and leave the rest to us.
